LQ Mississauga offers several classes for learning Qur’anic Arabic as listed above.  The purpose of these classes is to enable students to understand the Holy Qur’an and Hadith without the help of a translation.  All our classes are taught free of charge and the language of instructions is English.  Both males and females, 15 years of age and above are welcome to join the classes.  For all our classes, the ability to read the Holy Qur’an and write Arabic script is a must with some additional prerequisites for each level, as noted above for each class.

The well-renowned Madinah Books (1, 2, and 3) by Dr. V. Abdur Rahim are used as textbooks.  The level of a class corresponds to each of the three books. The textbooks and other course materials are available free for download from the LQM website.  The hard copies of these books can be purchased locally from any Islamic Book Store.

Arabic Learning requires a strong desire and continued/sustained commitment. Therefore, our students are expected to maintain regular attendance, complete weekly-assigned homework, and take short quizzes when assigned.

We expect students to maintain discipline during class, and respect other students, teacher(s), and the LQM team members.  These expectations are listed under Class Regulations accessible from the Classes’ Page.
